Background: In Los Angeles, there was an absence of student-friendly Bengali cafés, which inspired my passion for creating a brand that celebrates the art of Bengali tea, known as ‘cha’ in Bangla or Bengali.’ My love for cha and the desire to find a charming café offering this cultural experience motivated me to work on this branding project.

Result: I developed the branding for Cha House, a café concept showcasing Bengali tea culture's rich flavors and traditions. As part of this project, I created logos for the brand that reflect its identity and mission. The logo consists of the classic teacup plate, the cup holds traditional Bengali tea, and many spices surrounding the plate are used in Bengali Tea. The Spices don’t only represent tea, they also represent every single spice that is used in Bengali cuisine. The branding aims to immerse patrons in the cultural tapestry of Bengal, embracing the warmth, flavors, and hospitality deeply rooted in our heritage.
