Hi! My name is Zamia Hurain. 

I am a first-gen multi-media designer. Ever since childhood, I have always been a creative person, but I never realized that I would want to go into a creative field. My design inspiration comes from doodling mandalas. There was a time when I would doodle a mandala almost every day, and I was known for it. 

As the first woman in my family to earn a bachelor’s degree, my education not only represents my achievement but inspires future generations. I always try to inspire everyone about the importance of having a career, and goal, which is what inspired me to turn my hobby into a career. From doodling mandalas to learning digital design has been a journey. Even in the process of learning the medium of digital design, I wanted to be true to myself by creating designs with a purpose. I want to create designs that are both impactful to me and society. In my design I always keep a touch of my culture and religion, I want to keep doing that as a way of representing them. That being said, I love going out of my comfort zone, so I am always open to working on projects that help me learn and grow.
